There is a pad and 2 buttons on the upper left/right of keyboard which allow you to control mouse cursor. I can't test it now since don't have a computer with PS/2 interfaces for mouse and keyboard, but if some reason doesn't work, you can return. It is infrared so it does require line of sight. This is a wireless keyboard/mouse combo with dual PS/2 interfaces.

It takes 2 AA batteries which are included just put fresh Ones in. I used to use this on a HTPC so it wan't much, few keystrokes here and there, but worked fine.
